Diamondhead MS was incorporated into a city in February 2012, and is located in Hancock County.  Only a quick half hour drive west of Gulfport down I-10.  The community is very conveniently located to Stennis NASA compound, so if you are working out there, you may want to consider buying a home in Diamondhead MS.

Though not directly on a beach, Diamondhead MS hosts a yacht and country club, marina, golf courses, public pools, learning centers, grocery shops and numerous bodies of waters.  Surprisingly, there is even a private airstrip.  I have to tell you that the Rouses in Diamondhead MS is top notch.  They have a fresh variety of vegetables and Prime meats.

Named after the famous Hawaiian town, Diamondhead’s streets and centers have Hawaiian influence and many residences tend to follow Tahitian-themed roof line look.  First developed in the 1970s to attract New Orleans, Gulfport, and Biloxi retirees, the area has transformed into a vibrant residential area for people of all ages.  Though it only comprises a little more than 11 square miles, the landscape is attractive, with rolling hills.  There are homes and condos around every corner.
